Hello everyone! Today, I want to talk about something that is near and dear to my heart — somatic sex education for sexual trauma survivors. As a survivor of sexual trauma myself, I understand the importance of finding safety and pleasure in your body again. And that’s where somatic sex coaches come in.

Unlike traditional talk therapy, somatic sex education works with the body to help clients notice, support, tend to, and acknowledge what is coming up in their bodies. This approach can help survivors discover pleasure in their bodies again, find safety in being intimate with others, and unearth healing they didn’t know was possible.

I’ve personally experienced the power of somatic sex education during my own studies. I’ve discovered a whole new alternative to healing my body and am finally experiencing the pleasure and safety I have been desiring. If you’re interested in learning more about somatic sex education, please reach out to me for more information. We can chat more about what sessions may look like, I can send you my intake form, and we can arrange some in-person sessions together.

Now, let’s talk about pleasure. Seeking pleasure is a key element in reclaiming and exploring your sexuality. Pleasure can be found in so many different forms — from the taste of food in your mouth to the feeling of the sun on your skin. It’s important to explore what brings you pleasure and incorporate it into your daily life.

For survivors of sexual trauma, seeking pleasure can be a daunting task. But, with the help of a somatic sex coach, it can become a healing journey. By learning to listen to your body, communicate your needs, and set boundaries, you can begin to rediscover the joy and pleasure in your sexuality.

It’s important to remember that healing is a process and it takes time. But, with the right support and guidance, it’s possible to reclaim your sexuality and find pleasure in your body again. So, if you’re interested in exploring somatic sex education, don’t hesitate to reach out. Let’s work together to create a safe and pleasurable space for your healing journey.
